Kitesurfing: Poles claim two spots at the 2024 Paris Olympics

Poland secured two more Olympic qualifications for Paris 2024 on Wednesday, in the course of the "Last Chance Regatta" in France's Hyeres. The Poles claimed the Olympic tickets for their country by advancing to the finals in women's and men's Formula Kite class.

In the women's Formula Kite class competition qualifiers - Poland's Julia Damasiewicz was 2nd, Izabela Satrjan finished 3rd, while Magdalena Woyciechowska ended as 6th - and all three advanced to the finals. In the men's competition, Maks Żakowski is 2nd in the ongoing final and Jan Marciniak is 3rd so far.

The World Cup regatta in Hyeres, during French Olympic Week, is the last chance to get the Olympic tickets. The competition will continue until Saturday.

In addition to the latest achievements described above - the Polish sailing team has already secured Olympic Games spots in the iQFoil women's windsurfing class, men's iQFoil class, as well as in the two-person men's 49er class and the women's single-person ILCA 6 class.

The Paris 2024 Olympic Games will start on July 26.
