The nail-biting match lasted three hours and 11 minutes. Świątek’s victory marks her 20th title in a WTA event, solidifying her status as a dominant force in women's tennis.

Reflecting on the match, Świątek expressed her satisfaction with the win, particularly against a formidable opponent like Sabalenka. "It was a tough battle out there, but I'm thrilled to come out on top," Świątek remarked.

Notably, this final marked the fourth (and tenth total) encounter between Świątek and Sabalenka as the leader and runner-up in the world rankings. Sabalenka overpowered Świątek in the Madrid tournament final last year.
